Dustin Baker

Dustin Baker is a seasoned cybersecurity leader, bringing 11 years of cybersecurity experience to BlackCloak. His deep technical foundation, combined with seven years at a startup and a proven ability to lead teams and manage customer relationships, gives him a unique perspective on security architecture and operational excellence. He has leveraged this perspective to drive successful outcomes throughout his career. 

Most recently, he served as the VP of Information Security and Acting CISO at Mad Mobile, where he guided the company through two SOC 2 Type II and PCI DSS 4.0 audit cycles, shifting the program toward continuous compliance and automated testing. He also launched a series of cybersecurity advancements, including a robust IAM program focused on Zero Trust, the inception of a Cloud Security program and practice, as well as renegotiated key partnerships, doubling the efficacy of the security tooling stack while achieving significant cost savings. 

He also held various roles at ReliaQuest, working within the company across several roles to manage teams, support security engineering and architecture, and partner with other company leaders to scale various service practices and programs. Dustin was also involved in multiple consultation engagements with Fortune 100 CISOs and security teams, partnering with them to implement security tooling, procedures, and management of large-scale projects. 

Dustin brings a unique blend of strategic vision and hands-on technical leadership to BlackCloak, underscoring his ability to build, manage, and optimize enterprise security functions from the ground up. As CISO, he’ll be responsible for guiding the company’s security program, with a focus on scalability and collaboration, to protect BlackCloak employees, data, and its reputation.
