Hazel Cerra is the Director of Digital Security Convergence at BlackCloak, where she integrates physical security with Digital Executive Protection (DEP) by building strategic partnerships to safeguard high-profile individuals and their families. A nationally recognized leader, Cerra joined BlackCloak following a distinguished 25-year career with the U.S. Secret Service.
Most recently, Cerra served as the Resident Agent in Charge of the Atlantic City Resident Office, overseeing protective intelligence and complex financial crime investigations. Trained in advanced network intrusion and Critical Systems Protection, she specializes in aligning physical security doctrine with digital risk management to mitigate sophisticated threats against executive assets.
Matt Covington
With over 25 years of experience in product development and management within the technology sector, Matt Covington brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Senior Vice President of Product at BlackCloak.
In his role at BlackCloak, Covington oversees the development and implementation of product strategies, enhances the user experience, and ensures that product offerings align with the company’s strategic goals. His appointment underscores BlackCloak’s commitment to leadership and excellence in the personal cybersecurity industry.
Covington’s experience includes over 15 years as a Product Manager, with a strong track record of delivering products that enable customer success. His expertise spans a variety of solutions, from mobile apps to SaaS services.
Brian Hill
Brian serves as the Field CISO, Client Advisory at BlackCloak, where he leads a world-class team of cybersecurity analysts and manages incident response and threat hunting for an executive digital protection service. In addition to his role at BlackCloak, Brian is an Adjunct Professor at Metropolitan State University, where he designs cutting-edge cybersecurity and forensics courses and serves as a technical instructor for the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) program.
Brian’s notable career highlights include collaborating with Senator Al Franken to craft the pivotal Location Privacy Protection Act, serving as a technical advisor on “Good Morning America,” and building Minnesota’s first mobile digital forensic lab. Brian holds a Master of Science in Security Technologies with a minor in Cybersecurity from the University of Minnesota.
