Next week, members of both BlackCloak’s executive and revenue teams will descend on Las Vegas for the annual Black Hat Conference. This year will be the first for us as an exhibitor. You can find us setup in Innovation City Booth #52.

I can’t wait to feel the energy that comes from being surrounded by peers and having in-person conversations on how we can advance executive cybersecurity & digital privacy as individuals and an industry,” said Christine Schaefer, our VP of Revenue.

New digital executive protection solution features

In conjunction with Black Hat, earlier this week we announced new malware protections for our digital executive protection platform. The features include a new QR Code Scanner that can automatically validate the legitimacy of a QR codes’ underlying URL. It will also proactively alert members to navigate away from websites determined to be malicious.

We also unveiled a malicious calendar detection features. This anti-malware protection will determine the legitimacy of invitations or newly added calendars. Malicious calendar detection will empower our clients to delete potentially malicious events before malicious code can be injected.

Both features, along with updates to our VPN, will be available later in Q3.
