Your most likely breach path is the one you cannot touch
Your executive’s personal phone, home network, and family accounts sit outside your SIEM, your EDR, and your policies. Attackers know it.
BlackCloak protects their entire digital footprints, including their privacy, and risk exposure with a comprehensive suite of enterprise-grade capabilities including:
One Platform. Full-Category Protection.
Point solutions leave gaps in your Digital Executive Protection program. Dark web alerts, data broker scrubbing, and threat intel dashboards each solve a fragment of the problem, and they all rely on you for remediation.
BlackCloak maintains a SOC 2 Type II certification and combines our own SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and Threat Intelligence into a unified platform for full-category Digital Executive Protection, addressing the following four pillars of cybersecurity.
Why Executive Risk Often Goes Unmanaged
Most security leaders know their executives are exposed, but the same four things stand in the way of protecting them. Here’s how we remove each one.
-
You’re accountable for a risk you can’t legally manage
BlackCloak protects your executives directly and keeps you informed, without exposing personal data to your organization.

-
Every personal incident adds to your workload
There’s no SIEM integration, no firewall changes, and no day-to-day management. We also handle personal incident response should a breach occur.
-
Executives think corporate controls are enough
Our Concierge Team works with executives on education and personal risk reduction, highlighting areas of concern and providing unlimited access to support.
-

Online exposure is turning into physical threats
We remove the personal data attackers use to locate executives and their families, and alert you if we detect signs of physical targeting.
Working with BlackCloak

We work directly with executives and their assistants to book a confidential Privacy and Exposure Review.

Each executive gets a bespoke risk report and a protection plan is built around their role and family.

The BlackCloak app is installed, data broker removal and suppression starts, and home network scans are initiated.

We continuously check for threats, remediate what we find and remediate incidents when they happen.

Your dashboard shows aggregated, anonymized exposure reduction and response metrics.
The Trusted Leader in Digital Executive Protection
I’ve seen first-hand how BlackCloak gives CISOs new levels of assurance they previously didn’t have. Their curated approach ensures executives’ personal cybersecurity is protected in ways not found elsewhere.
BlackCloak has been hugely valuable in creating a truly secure environment for our senior executives, at their homes and while they travel. It’s a critical service that any large organization should have.
As a CEO, I know I am a target for hacking and other attacks. These are the types of risks that companies and corporate executives cannot directly combat, unless they have a trusted concierge cybersecurity partner like BlackCloak backing them up.

Four Clients, Four Problems, Four Outcomes
The following four case studies highlight how varied targeted executive attacks are. Each of these Clients came to us after an incident had already happened. Our incident response team contained and remediated each one, then rolled out Digital Executive Protection across their leadership teams.

Case 1
Identity theft impacts an entire leadership team
Multiple senior leaders at a healthcare organization reported unemployment claims and small business loans were being taken out in their names. The volume of incidents experienced quickly overwhelmed their internal security and legal teams.
BlackCloak enrolled 14 members of the leadership team, running data broker removal and deep and dark web scanning for exposed passwords, before putting identity theft protection in place while remediating the outstanding fraud.

Case 2
Hijacked social account used to attack the company
A CxO at a manufacturing company with more than 2,000 employees had their personal social media account hijacked. Attackers used it to attempt money transfers and message employees directly. The security team needed to take back control without taking over the executive’s personal accounts.
BlackCloak contained the breach and onboarded the entire C-suite to our DEP Platform. The engagement went further than the incident itself, helping the CISO win buy-in for secure password vaults across the whole company.

Case 3
Executive data exfiltrated in a ransomware attack
A Life Sciences company was hit by a ransomware attack that exfiltrated the passport numbers, Social Security numbers, and passwords of its executive team and their assistants. The General Counsel accelerated a Digital Executive Protection project already in progress, covering executives and assistants with device security, home network scanning, deep and dark web monitoring, and identity theft protection.
Six months later, an executive’s personal social account was targeted. The attempt was detected and shut down immediately.

Case 4
Leaked intellectual property through personal devices
A pharmaceutical CISO had a 14-person executive team who occasionally used personal devices for company work. Attempts to extend corporate protections into executives’ personal lives met resistance. Then the team was hit with identity theft.
BlackCloak rolled out a Digital Executive Protection program using short onboarding sessions that kept executives in control of their own accounts. We secured their devices and remediated the identity theft, mitigating the risk of SEC disclosure.

Aggregated, anonymized risk reduction metrics built for board reporting. You will never see an individual executive’s personal information.
Those protect the brand and flag threats. They don’t secure a personal device, harden a home network, or run personal incident response.
Start with what an incident already costs. 75% of organizations reported at least one of their executives were targeted in the last 12 months. At 8.7 staff hours to remediate each incident, it’s a big risk to leave unmanaged, and time your team could have spent protecting the enterprise.
