Christopher Linde
Chris Linde is BlackCloak’s COO & General Counsel.
In his role, Chris is responsible for managing the company’s external partner relationships with financial institutions, law firms, accounting firms, and other trusted advisors. Internally, Chris coordinates efforts among the security operations center (SOC), client success team, and the revenue team, to ensure the company’s cybersecurity and online privacy offerings are properly delivered to all members in a timely manner. Chris also manages the company’s financial and legal affairs.
Chris has over 15 years of experience leading various legal and operations roles, focusing on highly-regulated industries where cybersecurity, information security, and online privacy issues are top of mind. Throughout his career, Chris has advised numerous financial institutions, including traditional banks, electronic payments companies, and non-profit lenders, on the legal and operational risks and obligations each faces. He has also specialized in guiding organizations towards the most appropriate solutions commensurate with their risk appetite.
Chris is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP-US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).Through this certification, Chris is uniquely qualified to help organizations understand and implement compliance and risk mitigation strategies. Chris maintains a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida and a J.D. from Florida State University.
