Patti Titus joins BlackCloak Advisory Board

Career CISO Patricia Titus Brings Depth of Security and Protection Expertise to BlackCloak Advisory Board

U.S. Government’s First Federal CISO with Broad Corporate Security Leadership Experience Joins Digital Executive Protection Pioneer

Orlando, FL – March 10, 2026 – BlackCloak, a pioneer in Digital Executive Protection (DEP) for corporate executives, boards of directors, and Family Offices, announced today that veteran security leader Patricia Titus, the first federal CISO credited with creating the Transportation Security Administration’s first information security program, is joining the company’s Advisory Board.

Currently, Titus is Field CISO at Abnormal AI. She brings more than 25 years of global cybersecurity experience in the corporate sector and U.S. government to BlackCloak. She is one of today’s leading experts in government and enterprise security, as well as in the development of advanced cyber-defense programs, with leadership roles at Booking Holdings, Markel Corporation, Freddie Mac, Symantec, Unisys, and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Titus is also a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Titus joins BlackCloak’s Advisory Board at a pivotal time for the DEP innovator. The company is experiencing significant momentum, having nearly doubled its year-over-year Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in 2025, with DEP achieving recognition as a critical “must-have” component of strategic enterprise cybersecurity. She joins existing BlackCloak Advisory Board members Roland Cloutier and Malcolm Harkins.

“It’s a tremendous honor to welcome such an accomplished security leader to our advisory board.  I first met Patti around 2010 and it’s been amazing to see her career and impact be felt around the halls of some of the largest companies out there.  Patti’s experience in corporate security and understanding of the importance of comprehensive executive protection perfectly align with our vision and mission of safeguarding the world’s most targeted individuals,” said Dr. Chris Pierson, BlackCloak’s Founder and CEO. “As our team continues its passionate work to ensure the highest levels of protection for executives, high-net-worth individuals, and their families, Patti’s expertise and perspective will help us further advance Digital Executive Protection to meet the rising tide of threats and cybercriminal activities against high-profile leaders and their loved ones.”

“I’m thrilled to join BlackCloak’s advisory board and contribute to its work in a high-stakes area most of us would rather ignore: the reality that our digital footprints, when unmonitored and unmanaged, can introduce significant risk in our personal and professional lives,” said Titus. “As humans, a million things can happen in our private lives, and in today’s environment, those events can become public knowledge in an instant. BlackCloak’s DEP capabilities are unmatched and inherently necessary in this rapidly evolving landscape. With the need for digital bodyguards never higher and the demand for this level of personal concierge support never more urgent, the company is well-positioned for explosive growth.”

Throughout her career, Titus has directed the execution of comprehensive security strategies, ensuring alignment with strategic business imperatives and strict compliance with international regulatory standards.

Noted for her profound knowledge in risk management, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity operations, and crisis management, Titus has a demonstrated history of optimizing security architectures, enhancing organizational resilience, and integrating advanced technologies, specifically AI, into security programs. Currently, she extends her expertise through service on the boards of Black Kite and Glasswing Ventures.

  • Frictionless Extension of Partner Value: BlackCloak provides technology and services to Signature Alliance members’ clients and enterprise customers, including automated and high-touch full-privacy protection, personal mobile device protection, home network optimization, monitoring, and protection – all supported by a U.S.-based 24/7/365 Security Operations Center (SOC).

Orlando, FL – February 24, 2026 – BlackCloak, pioneer of Digital Executive Protection (DEP) for corporate executives, boards of directors, and Family Offices, announced today its new Signature Alliance Program to meet growing demand for executive and high-profile individual protection, as cybercriminals continue to successfully target and breach organizations through the personal lives of their employees.

BlackCloak research highlights the harsh reality that as corporate perimeters harden, the high visibility of executives’ and high-net-worth individuals’ personal digital lives has become the primary soft target for threat actors seeking to cause financial, identity, or reputational harm. Executives are 12x more likely to be targeted than any other employee in an organization. BlackCloak’s proprietary data has identified a significant risk to executives and families: 10 out of 10 households have had information exposed on the dark web, and 87% of clients experienced a breach before onboarding with BlackCloak.

BlackCloak is committed to its mission – protecting digital lives. The BlackCloak Signature Alliance is designed to accelerate the adoption of market-leading DEP solutions that wrap around a client’s entire digital life – including their homes, families, and personal devices and accounts – without compromising personal privacy or collecting sensitive browsing data. Through this elite program, BlackCloak empowers top private wealth advisors, heads of Family offices, value-added resellers (VARs), technology innovators, law firms, executive protection firms, and financial institutions to offer the comprehensive products and services that only BlackCloak can deliver.

“The Signature Alliance is more than a partnership; it is a commitment to a new standard,” said Jana Whitcomb, Vice President of Partnerships at BlackCloak. “We have designed this program to distinguish our partners as proactive, trusted advisors who can secure the ‘soft underbelly’ of the enterprise – the personal digital lives of its leaders. By providing exclusive resources, priority support, and a frictionless onboarding experience, we are enabling our alliance partners to deepen client relationships while securing the individuals most targeted by advanced threats.”

Tailored Support for Enterprise Partners and Advisors to High-Net-Worth Clients

The Signature Alliance offers specialized benefits tailored to the unique needs of two distinct partner categories:

For Enterprise Partners:

Signature Alliance members gain a strategic edge through short sales cycles and the ability to offer holistic personal cybersecurity for executives and their families, without requiring internal technical training. Because BlackCloak manages all client onboarding and SOC requirements, partners can scale their offerings without operational overhead.

For Private Client and Wealth Advisory Services:

The program provides advisory teams with the tools to address a clear and growing need among high-net-worth individuals. Alliance members can track and monitor program success through the Signature Alliance portal, ensuring they remain ahead of the latest cyber trends affecting their clients’ personal and financial security.

The Signature Alliance Portal

The BlackCloak Signature Alliance Program is built on a promise to partner members to provide the tools, support, and impactful joint activities that will drive revenue and build repeatable business. A crucial aspect of the program is the Signature Alliance portal that provides a seamless, smooth experience and on-demand access to:

  • Quick Start Guides and Sales Enablement: Professional pitch decks designed to drive sales and accelerate revenue growth.

BlackCloak Builds Industry Momentum with Significant Revenue Growth, Validating Digital Executive Protection as an Enterprise Mandate

BlackCloak Builds Industry Momentum with Significant Revenue Growth, Validating Digital Executive Protection as an Enterprise Mandate

Key Takeaways:

  • Exceptional Financial Performance: Nearly doubled its year-over-year Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), exceeding annual revenue targets while maintaining high customer retention.
  • Rapid Scale and Expansion: More than doubled the global team and solidified partnerships with industry leaders, including WWT and PwC.
  • Client Growth: BlackCloak protects the senior leadership and 300+ board members for 26% of the Fortune 100
  • Strategic Market Analytics: Gartner® November 2025 report establishes Digital Executive Protection (DEP) as a critical requirement for modern enterprise cybersecurity strategies.
  • Recognized Excellence: Recognized by numerous prestigious awards, including placements on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, the Inc. 5000, and the SINET16 Innovator Awards.

Orlando, FL – February 17, 2026 – BlackCloak, pioneer of Digital Executive Protection (DEP) for corporate executives, boards of directors, and family offices, announced today significant corporate momentum, signaling a market shift where DEP is now recognized as a critical, “must-have” component of strategic enterprise cybersecurity.

This momentum is underscored by BlackCloak’s record-breaking fiscal year. The company nearly doubled its year-over-year Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), exceeding internal revenue goals and reflecting that forward-thinking enterprises now consider DEP a non-negotiable pillar of corporate resilience. BlackCloak removes the burden from internal security teams of having to simultaneously protect the personal privacy, devices, and homes of senior leaders, preventing them from compromising the corporate perimeter. Combined with the market shifts, this value proposition has accelerated BlackCloak as the leader in this category.

BlackCloak research highlights the harsh reality that as corporate perimeters harden, the high visibility of executives’ personal digital lives has become the primary soft target for threat actors seeking an entry point into the enterprise.

  • The Targeted Executive: C-suite executives are now 12 times more likely to be targeted in cyberattacks than any other employee.
  • The Family Entry Point: Over 50% of organizations believe it is highly likely that an executive’s partner or child will be the entry point for a targeted campaign.
  • Widespread Vulnerability: 87% of new clients had no security on their personal mobile devices or tablets prior to onboarding with BlackCloak.
  • Deep Web Exposure: 10 out of 10 client households were found to have exposed passwords on the dark web during their initial assessment.
  • Hidden Compromise: 39% of corporate executives were found to have active malware on their personal devices or wide-open home networks before securing them with BlackCloak.

In addition to its financial milestones, BlackCloak more than doubled its headcount while maintaining industry-leading customer retention rates. This growth is bolstered by strategic partnerships with global industry leaders, including WWT and PwC, further expanding the reach of its concierge-style DEP offerings.

“We continue to witness a profound surge in sophisticated, personal attacks targeting leaders exactly where they are most vulnerable – outside the corporate firewall,” said Dr. Chris Pierson, Founder and CEO of BlackCloak. “As the attack surface expands to include home networks, personal devices, and even family members, the risk to individuals and the enterprise has never been higher. Our momentum underscores a fundamental shift in the industry: organizations now recognize that a holistic Digital Executive Protection strategy is the only way to safeguard their executives, protect their families, and ultimately defend the corporation’s integrity from these pervasive and highly targeted threats.”

Industry Validation of Concierge-style DEP

The Identity Theft Resource Center® (ITRC)’s “2025 Annual Data Breach Report,” released in January 2026, summarizes the rapidly evolving problem of personal data breaches: “We have moved beyond an era of simple identity theft into a State of More. More attacks that are more precise, more automated and more difficult to detect.” The report also reveals that “data breaches are a near-universal experience for consumers, with 80 percent of respondents having received a data breach notice in the past 12 months; nearly 40 percent of people responding to the survey received 3-5 separate notices in the past year. A staggering 88 percent of people who received a data breach notice experienced at least one negative consequence after a breach, including an increase in “phishing” or scam attempts (53.7%), an increase in spam emails or robocalls (49.2%), and attempted takeover of an existing account (40.3%).”¹

A recent Gartner report, Navigate Executive Protection Solutions for Digital Threat Defense,² notes, “Adversaries are increasingly targeting executives in the cyber and physical realm, driving greater urgency for organizations to develop more robust cybersecurity strategies to protect their greatest asset — people.”

Gartner further highlighted the value of specialized vendors, stating, “Concierge-style executive protection service providers often have a more concierge-type service where the provider will engage more directly with the executive instead of the security team. Specialized executive protection vendors extend their scope of executive protection to include home network scanning, penetration testing for home offices, and personal mobile device monitoring. There are benefits to these types of concierge-style service engagement, such as offering more privacy for executives.”

Industry Firsts and Awards

BlackCloak continues to lead through innovation, having launched the industry’s first DEP Framework and DEP Resource Center. To date, the DEP Framework has been downloaded more than 700 times, providing CISOs with a standardized roadmap for implementing executive protection.

The company’s excellence has been recognized with many prestigious industry awards over the past year, including:

  • The 2025 Deloitte Technology Fast 500™
  • The 2025 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies
  • 2025 Inc. Best Workplaces
  • 2025 SINET16 Innovator Award
  • 2025 SC Award for Best Customer Service

“I am immensely proud of our team’s growth and innovative contributions to the industry, providing comprehensive defense for those in the crosshairs of advanced threats,” said Dr. Pierson. “As enterprises and high-profile executives face increasingly sophisticated threats, BlackCloak is committed to hardening the personal digital footprints of the world’s most targeted individuals and providing holistic Digital Executive Protection that safeguards executives and their families.”
